As D.A.E. Originals enters its 15th year we often sit and muse about our rich history, our products and our future. Will collectors still want what we create? Can we ever top Charmed Traveler or Shore Leave? Why did we endure such hardships we had no control over?

Then, there's the big question. What has the human race strived for since the beginning of time? Beyond love, health and a constant supply of chocolate, what is the ultimate human desire?

The answer is meaning. Not just meaning, but meaning with rhinestones. While meaning is a little black dress, it can be awfully plain without the rhinestones of irony, absurdity, finding beauty where you least expect it and, dare we say, magical.

This is what we live for and offer to you. Where everyone else sees the plain, humdrum part of life, we see the magic lurking behind all of life's important, looming concerns. In our reality, the distractions and rhinestones are elevated and charged with life affirming meaning and sent out into the world to make things just a little bit better.

While the rest of the world moves towards practicality and the endless chasing of market trends, we see ourselves as simple magicians reaching into our hat and being unsure of exactly what kind of rabbit we'll pull out next.
